Curriculum The Cornerstone Christian School curriculum, grounded in a Christian worldview, supports the spiritual development of each student, encourages a heart for missions, and emphasizes the importance of knowing and memorizing the Word of God. Selected materials further the goals of reaching academic excellence while addressing the individual needs of each student. The primary grades emphasize reading and math skills using the ABeka curriculum for many subjects while in the intermediate grades a strong focus on science, history, and literature is added to the math and reading program. Our middle school program has been designed to provide challenging curriculum in all areas with several clubs and activities offered outside of the school day. Our recently added high school continues our focus on academic excellence and spiritual growth. Our curriculum is systematically reviewed and contains selections from the following publishers- Abeka, Purposeful design, Bob Jones University Press, Positive Action for Christ, Zaner-Bloser and Six Trait Writing. |
TeachersCornerstone's teachers are caring, knowledgeable, Christian educators. They assure all students receive a challenging, comprehensive education. All teachers are certified by the State of Nebraska. |
Cornerstone Christian School educates students in a biblically-based, challenging curriculum. This is the basis for lifelong learning.
